hahaha, even though its exam time but i still went out. but got perfectly good excuse ok...
pammy, my dear secondary school friend is leaving for australia on the 25th to study economics at the university of melbourne!!
so exciting, and sad. probably this year or the next, we will witness groups of friends splitting up and scattered around to further their studies. i really hope we will stay in touch in the future.

pammy has a boyfriend! glad to see her so happy. but now me, divya and samantha kinda feel awkward with sham and pam when they are with their boyfriends. keke, feel like lamp post only..:D

oh, and we watched pride and prejudice. really nice! and although it clocks at more than 2 hours, i am glad because at least they wont cut out too much interesting stuff. and there are some sappy scenes that i wanted to laugh but the people in the cinema would think i am crazy and throw popcorn at me....:(
eek! go watch it and drag your boyfriend with you to make him feel inadequate compared to the oh-so-cool mr darcy! yummy!
but hor, got one weird thing...there was this guy who sat beside me. all alone, watching pride and prejudice. isnt that an odd choice? poor guy, maybe he was hoping to get some tips?

anyone watches this show? i got really turned off after the 1st and 2nd episode because of the girks constant bickering! gives malaysian women a bad name. i watched it again recently when the girls were required to learn fine dining and then test their skills with some high fliers in society. those socialites are soooo scary! one of them even commented that the utensils were not precisely a thumb away from the edge of the table! omg!! the girls left are to me, not malaysia's most beautiful material. why all the nice, sweet, accomplished gals never go join??

suddenly feel like i want to eat famous amos cookies.....the only time i ever ate it was on my birthday last year when divya bought it for my bday present coz i say i never had them before. so pathetic hor? pity me la....

i think this proverb is practically utter bullshit.
words certainly does wield a frightening power to hurt anybody.

during a recent holiday outing with my relatives, during dinner, they began to talk about how time has passed, how old they are getting and stuff like that before the discussion turned my younger female cousin, she is 15, who was sitting beside me. her mother lamented on how long her face was and said that she often receive comments that she look like a chinese wawa or doll (that is good right?) my uncle who lived in singapore said that she has certainly grown up and is not as cute as before. okay.......fine. then they turned on me! help!

"she certainly has grown up well. when she was small she wasnt really that pretty you know. absolutely nothing to look at. (add a random hand gesture)"

i admit that i maybe i should not take to heart these words but what would anyone feel when somebody, or worse, a relative says this? maybe people might say that the comment isnt all that bad. it means that you look better now right? yes i know but it still hurts like hell. i am just glad that the younger me never ever knew this. because i am sure that she/me will be utterly sad and devastated. wouldnt you? i feel worse that they said that i look ugly when i was younger, when i was more innocent.

i couldnt say anything and just continued smilling like an idiot. later i told my mom about it cause my parents didnt go for the dinner. she just said forget about it. i tried to but still, i am truly hurt. am i being oversensitive?

i really appreciate a comment another cousin made to me when i told him though. he told me to take it as when i was small i was pretty, but now i am prettier! oh, how i wish that this was the comment that they had wanted to express...

even now as i write this, weeks after the comment was made, it still stings and i hope no one will have to hear such statements about themselves. really, i sincerely hope not, not ever.

a late post on new years eve... it was really nice meeting wai ken, mei ann and carin. haha, wai ken is exactly like his crazy, fun-loving friends and i am sorry if i didnt talk more with you. i dunno what to say also, me shy? mei ann is really sweet and gives me wicked ideas on how to get promoted to business class in planes. pity about her injury though, hope she gets well soon! didnt have the opportunity to chat with carin, she seems really nice though. our communication was limited to smiles. hehehe. anyway, the new years eve rave party is an event of many firsts for me. its not in any particular order!

• i never drink beer with a bunch of friends before (bro if you are reading this, dont freak out!! it was a free bottle of beer. one only ok?)
• saw real life pole dancers doing a lil dirty dancing with stilt walkers( so funny ok!!)
• see some of my friends dancing to the beat! i will never look at some of them the same ever again! :P
• kena spray with the foam.so fun, regret never buy. hilarious when hear other friends talk about it. " when i was counting down 3,2,1....happy new year suddenly all the foam kena spray inside my mouth!!" hahahha, so kesian....
• went to shauns house and his room. wink wink.....wanna know what i found there?
• witnessed a "kau" absolutely useless and crazy stunt. calvin actually finally consented to being stuffed inside a car boot! it lasted only for a few minutes. oliver revved his engine and raced up the elevated exit. poor calvin had to endure the bunp, bump, bumps up while me, chialing, sueling and carin screamed our hearts out. outside, the jusco employees had a shock when the boot was popped open and calvin emerged from it. crazy? yes, but what are teenage years for? :D
  
• sitting in calvins car alone was an experience of a lifetime. sitting in the backseat of his cute lil kelisa with jianloong and chialing beside me while he sped was exhilarating! the smallest bump would throw us around violently. haha, fun and definitely better than some rollercoasters!

that is all i can remember of it. i left out many teeny small details, but miniscule as they are, i will remember it as they made up the great night. i look forward to another outing like that. everthing beats staying home and watching dvds alone ...

i got very very angry the other day. so much that i scared myself coz i didnt know that i was capable of such insanely angry violent emotion. i could feel my heartbeat increasing rapidly and if anyone was around me that moment i would have gladly strangled him/her. shiver.......i dont want to get so angry again....
