fishy tales

first things first, happy nineteenth birthday khoo suet mei!!! i vow to tease you more and make you live a more miserable hell then it was before....lol, just kidding. it is you who bullies me. sob...now both of us are older and wiser..not!! we can continue our gossiping and usual ways!

as you all may (or may not) know, my kaloi fish recently departed to err....the big blue continent god knows where and is happily swimming amongst its fishie friends..

to appease my constant nagging about how he killed my fish, my dad got me a new one! hehehe, at first i wanted to get another kaloi but the only kaloi at the shop looked sluggish. in the end we got an arrowana(kelisa).

that is not really the main thing i am getting at...
you see, a couple of weeks ago, me and my dad went to metropolitan park nearby my apartment and caught soma small fishes to feed the arrowana.

it was raining and i guess those small fishes got disoriented and ended up in the net and into the blue bucket that i was carrying. muahahaha, the arrowanna is going to get some dinner!

there were about 14 fishes mostly the size of a 5-10 cent coin except two that were somewhat bigger. the two seemed to be friends as they kept together even after they were transfered into the aquarium.

however, their friendship was not meant to last....
as i was eating my dinner, the larger and braver small fish aggreassively swam towards the predator without any qualms. it moved from side to side trying to intimidate the big A. big A simply regarded it with suprise before dislodging its jaw and swallowing the unfortunate brave fish in one gulp. RIP little fish....
the lonely friend was nowhere to be seen until i look behind the pump where it was hiding piteously.

a month later.....
all the other small fry were long digested and excreted.
only one remains....
the sole survivor!!
hahahhaa...the strongest dont always win. tactics and a healthy amount of fear is good too. i dont know if it small fish has grown to big to be eaten or the big A has finally regarded it as a friend.

whatever happens, their going ons are so funny and entertaining. now the small fish has even got brave enough to steal his food! gambate!! dont let him catch you doing that though...

whoever said that fishes were boring........

Happy Birthday to Me!!

the seconds, minutes and hours ticked by...

at 11.17 am. shing yee is tensely sitting in an artic-like condition. shivering, she tries her best to recall information from the not so deep recesses of her mind. what on earth is the diproportionation ionic equation of chlorate(1)ion?? why cannot balance?? other questions in the chemistry unit 6 mocks are equally if not more difficult.

oh what a far cry it was just nineteen years ago...

a red, squished little baby girl was born with absolutely no worries was born into the world!! =)
