Nightmare in My Own Home

The HORROR!!

one late night not so long ago, littl e miss shingyee was happily online doing stuff like checking her mail, surfing and chatting with her friends. suddenly her very interesting conversation with a friend was rudely interupted with an annoying message saying that she could not participate in the conversation because she was not signed in!! when her other windows where unable to load, she concluded thet it was a connection problem. with her clever (ehem) analytical skills, she suspected that SOMEONE had kicked the wires connecting the phone to the modem.

reluctantly, miss shingyee lifted her bum from the warm chair and went outside to look for the problem. even from a distance, she saw the errant wire that was not connected to its rightful port. she approached the dimly litted area with a cheerful assuarance that she could be continuing her rendezvous in no time. she reached down, took hold of one of the multiple wires there when...

she released the wire with a shriek when she felt something wriggling slimyly (shiver) against her skin.aaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! a large,brown, beady-eyed, tailess, lizard scampered away leaving its long, magnificent tail still moving energetically behind. the poor shellshocked miss shingyee stood there for several seconds watching THE tail. when she recovered, she rushed to the toilet to wash her hands .......

Damn BAd Mood!

Argh!!!
i am having so many conflicting emotions now that i am so ready to scream!!!

firstly, i am down because of my recent term 1 a-levels resylts! looks like i have to retake some of them again next term because apparently they are not good enough. sigh....feel so guilty lor cause have pay more money. i feel so stupid compared with my other college mates and it is times like thos when i ask myself what am i doing? in the world of A's and 100% (diane!!) i am nobody!

secondly, i want to go and watch charlie and the chocolate factory. i already asked my bro to bring me but he already sneaked out while i was asleep. and the reason i slept in so late was because he was kacauing me last night! part of his master plan la...

Back Home, Safe and Sound...

i am back from a great trip to the beautiful island of Langkawi!! aaah....it was a truly invigorating stay.

but the only thing bad about the trip is the journey to get there! we had to endure 7 gruelling hours in the bus. to make matters worse, we took the 11.30pm bus. kononnya we paln to sleep in the bus lar. but most of the 8 of us didnt sleep much as it was too cold and alien for us pampered people.
anyway, i will give a detailed account on the trip soon, i hope. hehe. we took loads of really pretty pics too!

p/s: anyone planning to langkawi should ask me or the others in my gropu on where to go and what to do! i think many people say langkawi is boring because they went to boring places....

I Need Jz a Little to Make me Happy

weeeeeeeeeeeee...........!

My brand new sofa arrived today! My family and i actually went to Ikea to shop for a sofa set but i didnt have my hopes up because i have never really liked the selection they had to offer there. But it was fun going there coz of the people. i had so much fun imaginig bout the people there. like the old auntie who bought 15 photo frames...what for? to sell ar?

not missing in action was the Rude Malaysians. some folks must really need to get to the loo or something considering how fast and hard they were pushing. me? i was swept aside like old newspaper. lucky i was wearing my sport shoes ok!!

even though we didnt find the sofa set of our dreams, my then newly arrived from london bro bought wine glasses, wine shelf and photo frames (2) while my mom got a shoe shelf. the shoe shelf and wine shelf had to be assembled ourselves. that was where..ehem...the highly skilled tan siblings came into the picture!!! while my dad snored contently on his lazy chair after a harrowing, money-flying day, me and my bro got to work and assembled them swiftlt and deftly. hehe. O_o

oops....back to the sofa set. ahem. so after Ikea, we proceeded to Homelife after a brilliant suggestion was brought up by a certain angelic and youthful member of the family. cough cough. once there, we lazily browsed until......we saw it!! the sofa of our dreams!! black leather with a shiny sheen with a distinctive "keng" smell. alas, the price tag also very "keng". sigh...what to do? no worries though, we found another nice one and after debating about the colour (i wanted wine, bro choc and dad cream) we finally settled on.....u guess? but imagine our "what???!" after we were told we had to wait for 3-4 weeks because the sofa must be "made". walau....what to do? wait lor.

then...............4 weeks later, my dad was asked to pay for it before they sent it. what la, think we will runaway with the sofa is it...

then..............ting tong ting tong...my sofa set has arrived and i just woke up!!! haha, stayed up till 5am the night before reading blogs. consequently, waking up at 1.30 in the afternoon. :) earning my dads very sarcastic, "sofa come only you wake up la!" kekeke

sofa is so BIG and my house so small. dad complains no place to put his lazy chair. mom smooths covers and checkes for flaws. me? i jumped on the sofa, landing in a comfy position while grabbing hold of a pillow. ahh....so nice. dad cries and moans that he is poorer and that the sofa not nice. i ignore him and proceed to strike pretty poses on the sofa.

hehehehheheheh. i have found another use for my blog. the freedom to praise ones self! i apologize if my blatant self-praise has spoiled your day. have a nice day with lots of nice things..

Absent...

I know that i irresponsibly dony update my blog. actually i think i might have made a mistake of even having one. i am so not disciplined enough to actually blog things out, important or otherwise.

i find that even when i do have something that matters to blog, i cant do it because its too personal and frankly, it scares me to think that some things that matter a whole load to me is known to everyone. and worse, it is treated with ridicule and gossip. thats why blog is so boring!! haha, nothing worth reading about. i think i have to get a diary if i want to express myself. sigh.
like chialing wrote in her blog also, what you write in your blog is up for public scrutiny.

anyway, i think i will still keep this blog to put pictures or any random entries that i might want to put in.

actually i want to put the pictures from my genting trip now but since my brother has rebooted my old computer, i must get the pictures from my other friends before i can post them! and i am now using my bros laptop and i dont dare do anything because if anything happens to his beloved "wife" i will be in this world no more!! lol.

oh before i forget. chialing!!!!1 i saw the picture of you and oliver in the Star education already. you look so cute, pretty and grown up. when i saw the ad i practically swelled with pride. hehe. i quickly took the paper and pointed it out to my dad. :)

and i want to say congrats to oliver and his band borange for making it to the finals. ven though you guys didnt win, it was a good experience and i hope that you will be winners next time around.
